Banana Bars
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 ripe bananas -- mashed
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
salt and vanilla
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, buttermilk and mashed bananas.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add to liquid mixture.
Add vanilla.
Bake in greased 12 x 15-inch pan at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
Chocolate Frosting:
1 1/2 slices butter -- melted
1/3 cup cocoa
1 box confectioners sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine and bring to a boil over low heat.
